About BMRA

The BMRA is a long-standing association and one of a number of residents' associations in the St James ward. We love this area and welcome anyone wanting to join the BMRA. Together we have looked after the local environment, promoted community events and given the local community a voice for many years:

  • Helping to organise volunteers to tidy and improve the gardens in the Bury Meadow.
  • Act as a link to local organisations, such as: local councillors, Exeter College, the University of Exeter and the police.
  • To help represent and support local residents with issues concerning planning and development in the area.

At the heart of the area is Bury Meadow which has been a park since the 1800s.
